We believe that a little better than two-thousand years ago, God Himself came to us in the form of His son Jesus, to teach humanity how He intended for us to live life, and ultimately Jesus came to die for us, conquering the death that we all face. Because Jesus not only died on our behalf, but also rose from the dead, defeating the power which death has over humanity; we, through placing our faith in Jesus, receive the gift of life. We receive this gift of life now in the grace and peace given to us through a relationship with Jesus, and because Jesus conquered death, those of us who put our faith in Him get to share in His victory in life forever.
We believe that being a Christian is about following Jesus in the here-and-now. In the past so much attention has been put on the afterlife that many Christians have been led to believe that the life we live now isn’t all that important. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is our strong conviction that Jesus came to show us how to live as we were created to live, and He wants His followers to experience this life each and every day.
We are convinced that Jesus is interested in each and every part of your life, and it is this holistic approach to the Christian life that we stand by. We believe that this life MATTERS, and that through our actions and lifestyles, we bring glory to God, and demonstrate the life of Christ to the world around us.
