What is the KV Social Media or Internet Ministry?
Well, if you have the technical ability to turn on your computer and watch a YouTube video, then you have the skills to make a difference to our internet and social media campaigns at Kings Valley Church.
I know watching YouTube doesn’t sound like a very important ministry, but here’s why it helps:
Whenever we get more exposure in our internet campaigns, whether by views, comments, ‘likes’ re-tweets, links from other sites, etc, etc, it makes our content more relevant to places like the Google Search Engine and Facebook, and they start to show our stuff more often when people are searching for related topics, or to your ‘friends’ on Facebook.
Why do we want to do that?
It will get our message about the love of Jesus in front of a whole lot more eyeballs…and that’s what we’re all about after all, right?
So if you could give us 5 minutes of your time each day…time you are already spending on social media like Facebook or Twitter, or YouTube or blogs or just surfing the internet…you get the picture… then we could make a lot more of an impact with the work we are doing online.
Make sense?
I guess it boils down to this…if you have an internet connection, we want you!
50 people spending just 5 minutes per day each would give us over 4 hours of internet and social media optimization every day. If you think you waste five minutes per day doing something less noble than helping a church connect with their community, then join us
