Where do I start?
Our tribe ministry has two complementary paths for discipleship; Destinations and Journeys. We encourage everyone to start their journey by going to a Destination.
“Destinations” are core discipleship experiences. These are the tribes that we believe everyone should experience in at some point during their time at KV. They are built around four characteristics of discipleship found in Acts 2:41-47: Seeking, Learning, Influencing, and Investing.
We encourage everyone to begin with Alpha.
From there, you are invited to go on to another Destination! Destinations are recommended starting points; please feel free to move on to a Journey whenever you are ready!
A journey is a gathering (typically 5-12 people) who meet and share life together regularly for fellowship and discipleship. Life is hard. It was never meant to be lived in isolation.
Some of our tribe journeys are typical Bible studies or book studies. Others are focused on outreach and service. Our interest-based groups create environments for people to do life together within the context of shared activities—sports, movies, coffee etc. All of our tribe journeys exist to help people connect to Jesus and connect to others.
